Dr. Margriet Lenkens

Dr. Margriet Lenkens studied forensic orthopedagogy and health sciences. In 2022, she obtained her PhD with research on support by experience experts for young people engaging in criminal behaviour. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher on the IST project, focusing on the experiences of young people with the police and justice system. She also collaborates with co-researchers with lived experience to enhance the project's impact.
